Falstaff's Bio
Who am I?

Well, to start off my name is William Edward Cochell, Jr.  You can call me Bill.  If you are a part of the historical re-enactment group known as the Society For Creative Anachronism, you may know me as "Falstaff"

I've always been creative.  Like most artists I got in trouble in school and with my parents by doing too much doodling, noodling, singing, generally making things up, and otherwise not really paying enough attention to what's going on here and now.

When I became an adult I felt that being an artist wasn't the sensible thing to do, but having no idea what kind of sensible thing I should be doing, I floundered for quite awhile.  Since I married my wife, she has been very supportive of my art and music, and I feel very much like the universe is pushing me in that direction.

The dragons and other images on my website you see are a combination of brainstorming ideas with my wife and my concepts for silly ways a dragon may get into trouble.  I've won awards for "Kugogi" and "But, but...they're DIET books!" at the Norwescon art show, People's Choice Best Humor in 2008 & 2009.

Somewhere between 2007 & 2008 I won a guitar playing bingo at the Puyallup fair.  My wife having the lovely voice she does, I became determined to be able to accompany her and do her justice.  I'm still working on that.  Be that as it may, as I sit in our booth playing and singing, just practicing really, enough people have asked to buy my CD I decided I probably ought to make one.  I finished "Got Grog" and released it on April 1st 2013.

I'm also working on a story.  I started it sometime in the early 1990s, and it is a piece of erotic-ish fiction that I hope that adults will enjoy once it's done.

I'll be putting more of my bio up as time goes on, but this should do for now.
